Boardridersguide.com New Mobile Site Increases Conversions by 99%

Boardridersguide.com is the UK’s largest and most established surf, skate and snow website. Launched in the early nineties it broke the mould as the first magazine quality ’surf mail-order catalogue’ packed with everything from surf wax to snowboards, wetsuits to bodyboards.

At the beginning of this month we launched a new Mobile friendly site for Boardridersguide.com & already the sales statistics are proving that if you develop for mobile users they will spend money via their mobiles.

Early statistics are showing a fantastic increase in conversions from mobile devices. The device that delivers 90% of the mobile traffic is of course the iPhone (we don’t include the iPad as this works perfectly using the main desktop site) & when comparing the performance of traffic before & after the Mobile site makes for a good read:
