Who They Are

Boardridersguide.com is the UK’s largest and most established surf, skate and snow website. Launched in the early nineties it broke the mould as the first magazine quality ’surf mail-order catalogue’ packed with everything from surf wax to snowboards, wetsuits to bodyboards. They were the first to offer bulk clearance deals from all the top surfing and snowboarding brands along side the latest lifestyle apparel, leading the way for surf and skate style.

The Challenge

Boardridersguide.com came to us to help them migrate their existing E-Commerce store over to Magento. Including full intergeneration with their EPOS system ‘Futura’ & to push their conversion rates upa as high as possible in an ever increasingly industry.

The Outcome

The was a large project with around 40,000 products we had to ensure the architecture of the site was perfect otherwise it would be very difficult for the end user to find what they want among everything else. So we spent a long time working on this side of the project & then the design element as this again was key from both a branding & usability perspective. What we delivered is a site we believe competes on a level with some of the largest online retailers in the market.
