• What is your response time to tech issues?

  The average response time for support tickets raised via our 24×7 helpdesk is 25-30 minutes without an auto response. The maximum resolution time cannot be committed though as it depends on how critical the support issue is. Support Hours are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Service Monitoring - Insite will monitor your servers 24x7. Our staff members are notified immediately when a port becomes unresponsive. We also use Pingdom to monitor all our sites & this sends email alerts to the support team if any site becomes unresponsive.

• What Dedicated Redundancy solution would you suggest?

  We can setup numerous servers which will replicate all data on the fly. If at any point in time the master server cannot serve a request the slave server will kick in. This allows seamless transfer to the backup with no down time to the end user. We will then investigate and correct the Master server. On restoration of Master server the slave will repopulate the data and once back in-sync the master will again start to serve content. The servers can be housed in two separate data centers within the UK.

• How would you deliver page load speeds of 0.5 seconds?

  Page load time is dependent on a number of factors. The hardware, (the more RAM and processors the better) the setup and the maintenance. If you are using Magento Enterprise edition the full page cache will allow even a heavily loaded page to load sub 0.5 second. We will automate routines to ensure that your database and files are kept in optimal condition. We can also utilise advanced caching techniques to overcome some of Magento's caching limitations.

• How/What do you do that is unique in the server hardware/software configuration to get the best performance for Magento?

• What about alternatives to standard shared, semi dedicated & dedicated solutions such as Cloud based hosting.

  We can build on a cloud based system with 100% uptime guarantee but the performance will be significantly less than using dedicated servers as we can’t make the specific configurations as mentioned above.
